Privacy Policy

StackTask helps teams plan work across clients, groups, projects, tasks, subtasks, timelines, lists, kanban views, assignments, and billing. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

We collect account details such as your name, email address, profile image, authentication provider, workspace name, team members, roles, and invitation status. We also store the project information you enter, including clients, groups, projects, tasks, subtasks, assignments, notes, dates, settings, colors, and workspace preferences.

We may collect technical information such as browser type, device information, approximate location from network data, log data, and security events. Payment card details are handled by Stripe, not stored directly by StackTask.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide the app, sync your workspace, authenticate users, show assigned work, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.

Services We Use

StackTask may use Supabase for authentication and database storage, Cloudflare for hosting and security, Stripe for billing, Google Analytics for optional website analytics, Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API for optional advertising measurement, and Google or Apple for sign-in when you choose those providers.

Analytics and Advertising Measurement

If you allow analytics, we may record campaign parameters, the page you entered, downloads, account registration, trial starts, and subscription events. Campaign parameters can include the source, campaign, ad creative, and a click identifier supplied by an advertising platform. We use this information to understand which pages and campaigns lead to useful StackTask activity and to measure advertising.

You may decline optional analytics in the consent prompt. StackTask does not load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel, or send optional conversion events, unless analytics is allowed on that browser.

Payments

Stripe handles payment details, checkout, invoices, subscriptions, and billing portal sessions. StackTask stores the minimum billing information needed to unlock paid workspace features, such as customer IDs, subscription IDs, billing status, plan, seat counts, and renewal dates.

Security and Abuse Prevention

We may use security tools such as Cloudflare Turnstile, rate limits, logging, and authentication checks to reduce spam, automated account creation, fraud, and unauthorized access.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to run StackTask, when required by law, or when you direct us to share workspace access with team members.

Your Choices

You can export workspace data from settings, update account details, deactivate team members, cancel billing through Stripe, or request account deletion. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, billing, or backup reasons.
